What is TorresmoCoin?

TorresmoCoin (TORRESMO) is a community-driven memecoin on the Polygon network. It’s designed to be simple, transparent, and fun, while offering fair tokenomics and strong cultural identity.

Why Torresmo?

TorresmoCoin began as an inside joke among a group of crypto enthusiasts, inspired by torresmo — a traditional Brazilian snack loved for its crunch and cultural roots in Minas Gerais. What started as lighthearted fun evolved into something bigger: a community project with real tokenomics, a presale, a roadmap, and a commitment to transparency through liquidity locks and external audits.

What is the total supply?

The total supply is fixed at 250,000,000 TORRESMO, with no possibility of minting new tokens.

Is there a transaction fee?

By default, TORRESMO has 0% transaction fee. Governance can activate a temporary fee capped at 1%, with 100% of it burned. The community can later execute lockFeeForever() to permanently disable any fees.

How do I buy TORRESMO?

After launch, TORRESMO will be available on QuickSwap in the TORRESMO/USDT pair. You’ll need to add the Polygon network to your wallet, get MATIC, and swap it for TORRESMO.

Is liquidity locked?

Yes. 70% of the supply is provided as liquidity and locked for at least 12 months, ensuring safety and preventing rug pulls.

How does governance work?

TORRESMO uses a hybrid DAO model. Each verified address can vote through a governance NFT (non-transferable). Proposals are processed by a Governor contract and executed only after a Timelock period, giving transparency and the chance for community veto.

Is TorresmoCoin safe?

The contract is simple ERC-20, verified, and will undergo external audit. Additional safeguards like anti-bot protection at launch and multi-sig wallets for treasury ensure maximum security.
